One of the most magical feelings in the world is when you teach your child to read, to see their eyes light up as you immerse them in the world of reading. It is amazing and mind-numbing when you are able to read a children’s book that you wrote to your child. Only a few of the population can say they did this, and we can only imagine how amazing this moment can be. The last member of this small group to be able to do so is none other than Diane Kruger.
On September 16, Kruger uploaded rare photos of her and her daughter Nova, but these photos are a bit more special because they feature Kruger reading her child’s book to Nova. She uploaded the photos with the caption “Reading ‘A name from heaven’ to my daughter for the first time 25 in the US and GERMANY (Dein Name).
Pictured is Kruger showing and reading his book A name from heaven
to his daughter Nova. While Kruger says her daughter was somewhat interested, she seems positively enthralled with the book! We’re sure Kruger didn’t expect such a successful reaction (although it was near-successful!)
But also, we’re really excited that Kruger is releasing a children’s book in October.
Release scheduled for October 25, 2022, A name from heaven is an illustrated children’s book about the power of a name. She explains why she loves her name and how she chose her daughter’s name: Nova. Illustrated by Christa Unzner, this heartwarming and mystifying tale is sure to be a favorite with kids and parents everywhere!
Kruger and beau Norman Reedus have known each other since 2015, after meeting on the set of the drama Sky and a year after they met, they started dating. Then in November 2018, Kruger gave birth to their daughter named Nova, who is her first child and Reedus’ second child.
Even royal children love to be read to! Here are some of their favorites.
